UV Printing Jigs for A3 Flatbed UV Printers

A3 UV flatbed printers offer a popular A3 print area (297 × 420 mm / 11.7" × 16.5") and are widely used by promotional product businesses, award shops, and custom merchandise producers. If your printer is an A3-format UV flatbed not listed elsewhere on this site, these jigs are built to fit.

Every Jigmade jig ships with a PDF alignment template. Open it in your RIP software, register the jig to your platen, load your substrates, and print — no manual measurement required.

How to Use a Jigmade Jig with Your A3 UV Flatbed Printer

  1. Set your platen origin. Use the Bed Base & Corner Alignment Jig (where available) to establish a repeatable registration point on your A3 UV Flatbed Printer platen.
  2. Place the product jig. Register the jig to the corner alignment point. It sits flush on the platen without modification.
  3. Load the PDF template. Open the included PDF in your RIP software. The template is pre-sized to the jig's layout.
  4. Load your substrates. Place golf balls, cards, pens, or other items into the jig recesses.
  5. Print. Every item prints at the same position, every pass.

Frequently Asked Questions — A3 UV Flatbed Printer Jigs

Do I need a jig to print on the A3 UV Flatbed Printer?

For flat substrates like business cards or CR80 cards, your A3 UV Flatbed Printer can print directly if the substrate is the right height. But for curved or irregular items — golf balls, baseballs, pens, can coolers — a jig is essential to hold the substrate at the correct print height and keep it from rolling or shifting during the pass. Without a jig, ink placement is inconsistent and waste is high.

Will these jigs fit my A3 UV Flatbed Printer without modification?

Yes. Every Jigmade jig for the A3 UV Flatbed Printer is dimensioned to sit directly on the standard platen without drilling, adhesive, or hardware changes. The Bed Base & Corner Alignment Jig (where available) clips to the existing platen edge to give you a fast registration reference.

How many golf balls can I print per pass on the A3 UV Flatbed Printer?

Our A3 UV Flatbed Printer golf ball jig holds 48 golf balls per pass. The jig keeps each ball stable at the correct height and uses a PDF alignment template for precise artwork placement.

What file format is the PDF template?

Templates ship as PDF files sized to your specific jig layout. They are compatible with most RIP software including Mimaki RasterLink, Roland VersaWorks, Epson Edge Print, and Adobe Illustrator. If you need a different format (AI, EPS, DXF), contact us and we'll send it.

How do I find the PDF template that came with my order?

The download link is in your order confirmation email. If you can't find it, email sales@jigmade.com with your order number and we'll resend it immediately.
